In classrooms all across the country and in communities from coast to coast, adults and children are taking part in various programs during February in observance of Black History month.
During these 28 days, added attention is paid to African Americans who made a mark on our lives and created historic change. It's a chance for all of us to learn, remember and appreciate the contributions of so many people.
